Mike Daliot began his career as a professional drummer after studying classical and jazz drumming at the conservatories of Innsbruck and Vienna.

After moving to Berlin, he began working for Native Instruments first as a sound designer, and later as a full-time designer-developer. Mike now works as Senior Audio Developer at the NI and is the mastermind behind already-legendary instruments such as Lazerbass, Metaphysical Function, Photone, and Resochord (Reaktor); he also created a large number of Traktor effects (including Traktor’s 12), as well as the highly-acclaimed Massive synthesizer.
